Recall Is Back: The “Dumbest AI” That Will Track Everything You Do!

Microsoft has finally decided to release its Recall feature. It was planned for release in May 2024, and then put back until October 2024. It was then scheduled for December 2024, but again delayed for security updates. Now, it has been announced in a preview release for Windows 11 [here]:

Basically, Recall takes screenshots every few seconds and sends them to the cloud. Microsoft then uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extract the text on the screen and send it back to a local database. For some, this is a Big Brother world and something that could be a privacy nightmare.
