My favouriate scene from any movie is from 2001: A Space Odysessy:

With this, HAL (the AI computer) doesn’t let Dave back into the spaceship because he heard him saying something that might jeopardize their mission. Now, there’s a catflap version of HAL that detects when your cat is bringing home an unwanted present of a dead bird or mammal. In fact, it is thought that over 22 billion mammals and four billion birds are killed by cats each year in the US.

And, so, we have Flappie — and which is an intelligent cat flap for detecting unwanted “dead” gifts [here]:

This goes to top of my list of things to buy for doing some demos of security testing. I love the “Selected access control” element and can define the type of mammal and/or bird that you want to detect.
